The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic is back for its 34th year, filling the skies over Ann Morrison Park with color and magic! This free, family-friendly event has been a Boise tradition since 1991, bringing the community together for hot air balloon launches, glowing night shows, and kid-friendly fun.

Schedule of Events

Wednesday, Aug. 27 – CapEd Credit Union Kid’s Day

• 7:00 a.m. – Balloons inflate
• 7:40 a.m. – Kids enjoy free tethered rides

Thursday, Aug. 28 – Media Day

• 6:45 a.m. – Balloons arrive
• 7:20 a.m. – Morning flight

Friday, Aug. 29 – VIP & Nite Glow

• 6:45 a.m. – Pilots Arrive
• 7:20 a.m. – Morning flight
• 4:00 p.m. – Inflatable Fun Zone
• 7:30 p.m. – Evening fun (food, vendors, music)
• 8:45 p.m. – Nite Glow Spectacular ✨

Saturday, Aug. 30

• 6:45 a.m. – Balloons arrive
• 7:20 a.m. – Morning flight

Sunday, Aug. 31 – “Last Dance”

• 7:20 a.m. – Final morning flight

Tips for Attending

• Arrive early for the best views
• Dress in layers (cool mornings!)
• Bring a blanket or chair
• Don’t miss the Nite Glow on Friday night!
